Web Design, AJAX and SEO

Thursday, September 25th, 2008

Anymore, web design and development is a balancing act between making your site as interactive and user friendly as possible while still satisfying the search engine’s needs. Search engines require static URLs for every bit of content on the website. If you cannot type in the URL and get to the content you are looking for neither can search engines. At Bridgeworks, we use a unique methodogy that is a mixture of PHP and AJAX that satisfies both parties.

Without getting too specific, search engines require links that have valid URLs and not all js, as they don’t understand js at all. So we use a degradeable mixture of the two. To find out more about the technologies we use check out our web development page or contact us.
